Short Answer Questions
Describe something you have built recently.
Our startup provides a fast, fun, affordable van service requested via a smartphone app -- think SuperShuttle for everywhere or Über Cab on the cheap. It's been a good year: we've advanced to the semi-finals in two UC Berkeley business plan competitions and we've secured funding from friends and family to launch Yaygo in San Francisco this summer.
Why do you want to work on a startup or side project?
We're looking for a rockstar developer to be responsible for creating our mobile app front-end in HTML5 and system architecture back-end in RoR or Django. This would be a summer position with the possibility of extending to full-time or part-time in the fall. Our new teammates will be compensated with equity, pay, and really cool job titles.
Anything else you'd like to mention about yourself?
We've got a talented team of founders: a PhD in transportation engineering, a city planner, and an MBA. Yaygo is a sustainable social enterprise so we'll be going good and doing well. Take a look at our poster (http://bit.ly/Jiawrd) and app demo (http://bit.ly/IAVDB7). Excited? We are too! Please contact us and provide a sample of your work.
